Chris Burnett Associates have acted for Longcliffe Quarries since 1986, first gaining planning consent for the substantial extension of a quarry waste tip for their operational limestone quarry in Longcliffe, the completed result of which is seen in the photo below. Longcliffe quarries then wished to extend their quarry operation to adjacent area of new reserves and simultaneously develop a new transport depot for their fleet of lorries on neighbouring land. Landscape schemes and LVIA’s were developed for both and planning consent was obtained in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
